FRIENDS

The idea for Friends came to me on return from Hawaii, largely inspired by the clay figures of Kai Manzano. I'd met young Kai on a day out boating in Kaneohe Bay; his father had been feeding my father and I as many edibles as we could manage. When we returned to land I promptly passed out on their sofa, but not before Kai could show me his things, many of which he'd made. I decided that I would make polymer things too. Henceforth, Friends.
